As always here, football or even popular sports in general is seen as a peasant thing, naturally there is an over representation of foreign ancestry and even mixed European ancestry, in the same way most American basketball players are black or mixed. If you get the funny idea to practice sport for a living in France you are basically scraping the bottom of the social ladder, until you are like world champion of something, and even then you will still be regarded as a rich, yet uneducated peasant who couldn't have used his brain for anything else. The whites ones don't mind because they usually come from the poor suburbs to begin with. That's like Ribery who is without kidding borderline illiterate, most sounds at least like wiggers, which is just reverse assimilation they got from where they used to live and the general football environement.

Nigerian players are clearly lighter than Senegalese who are very dark. I noticed this on TV.
Many Nigerians are chocolate brown, and they quite look different than Senegalese who are more gracile/lightweight and almost really black in color.

Nigerians are robust, look more like Aframs.
