Perhaps. Vasquez is a Galician-Gothic surname which means "Son of Vasco (orig. Velascus)". The name Velascus is the Latinized version of a pre-Roman Hispanic name of unknown origin.

Classify the sultry Columbian actress Sophia Vergara, star of the hit faux-comedy show Modern Family:p. I'm not much of a fan of the show myself, but a couple of times I've tuned in, just because I was besotted by her looks. To me, she looks of wholly European ancestry, with nary an American Indian to her family tree. She looks like she can fit in anywhere in SW Europe. But, I suppose she could have some remote indigenous South American as her descendants. It certainly wouldn't be beyond the pale, considering she is originally from Columbia.

Your right, I glanced at a few google image results and without makeup she looks part Amerindian.

She is very likely castiza (mestiza in the 70-85% European range, and the rest Amerindian) or Harniza (60-70% European and the rest Amerindian).
