There is a lot of misrepresentation of what Afghans look like throughout the web. The thing that is most mindblowing to me is that people often compare pictures of war-torn Afghans to westernized people in different environmental conditions. Therefore, I thought I would post videos of Afghan Pashtuns/Tajiks when the country from when the country was much more westernized to make a fair comparision

Most look similar to Armenian based on what is pictured above.

All in all, they look Iranian. A few may pass as Armenian or Assyrian also.

just wondering; Hazara, Uzbek, Turkmen, Baloch, etc citizens of Afghanistan are not "Afghan" in your books?

Of course they are Afghan. I just think specifically, Pashtuns and Tajiks are very misrepresented on these forums.

Yeah most of them look iranian. couple look central asian influenced like Temor shah.

Many of the new afghans songs seem to have iranian vibe to em.

I agree they look very Iranian.

as a group they would stand out but many pass in southeastern Europe and western Asia individually
