I think it is the same.

Arabid is just a desert adaptation of a med phenotype.

Lebanese and Western Syrians live in a Mediterranean climate and not an arid one, so they are Med looking, while being genetically close to their desert neighbors.

IMO Phenotype <> Genotype.
