I don't know the rest of Hanafis but yes, in Turkey some people see these foods (at least Crabs and Lobsters) similar to Pork; but not everyone. A lot of places serve them and many turkish muslims enjoy them since it's only Makruh and not Haram, and only in Hanafi school.

Actually Wahabism is pretty liberal in it's dietary laws, it allows anything except for Pork and carnivores, but sea animals all of them are well halal. Shiaism is more restrictive. Shias only eat halal if religious, but a Wahabi can eat a meat that's not slaughtered in a halal way, as long you bliss it yourself it's fine, and it's also fine from the people of the book. Also some Arabs don't really follow the school laws totally. Iraqi Arab Sunnis are mostly Hanafis but they disregard it for the seafood, and some are Malakis which does not have any restriction and like Wahabism just prok and carnivores.
