Afghanistan isn't included in south asia but their population isnt much anyways so its still around 1.8 billion probably. damn for a region with almost 2 billion people we've achieved jack shit. We should seriously implement one child policy similar to what China did in the past.

They are ancient Gandara part of Bharat kingdom. Until Genghiz & Timur moved out vast Indian & East Iranic out of that place during Mongol invasions it was highly connected to Delhi
