Home to one of the biggest Colombian populations in the USA.

Average harnizo, with some castizos, mestizos and Euros (and a couple of SSA influenced).
Around 1/3 pass perfectly here and another 1/3 pass as atypical (but pass as national however).

How do they compare to the Mexican-Americans I posted a few days ago?

Well... if I remember well those mexican-americans were between Balanced to Harnizo in average (a little less euro than these colombian-americans), also with some whites and castizos... the average is not so different though...
But it seems that their traits are quite different. Probably which makes that difference is that native colombians and native mexicans are quite disctint in their pure state...
For that reason I see more of these american-colombians passing here than those mexican-americans... talking about who are mixed of course.

What proportion would you say could pass easily in Argentina?

Harnizo/mestizo/castizo/tri-racial, in that order. All of them can pass easier as locals.

More tri-racials than I expected...maybe some are Venezuelans in disguise lol. Seriously though, maybe more immigration to NYC has come from Cartagena and the coast?
For example L-R: mestiza, mestiza-leaning tri-racial, euro-leaning tri-racial, amerindian-leaning tri-racial

I've never lived in a Colombian neighborhood before. But the ones I've met here usually tell they are from Medellin, Cali or Bogota. Rarely from the coast or elsewhere. My experience with Colombians is limited though like I said. Queens is like a different world to me.

Opposite for me, I live so close to Jackson heights and I was also raised there I’m around Colombians 24/7. Most of them either looked Mestizo/Tri-Racial/Castizo
I remember one time I was going to meet this guy from Grindr in the upper Manhattan and it was a complete different universe to me, it was way more Afro centric then Jamaica or Southside Queens. I felt like I was in a different country for a minute. NYC neighborhoods vary so much in terms of ethnicity depending who lives there.
It’s amazing how you can experience culture shock in the city alone
