dinarid, noric, dinaro-med, alpine, sub-nordid, north atlantid, atlantid, alpine+atlantid, Even some few CMs and nordids. They look very Central European like Austrians or Swiss. Look nothing like Iberians.

Besides Italy, where would they fit best in your opinion?

Mostly Norics, Dinarids, Alpinid, some Dinaro-Med, Altantid and Subnordid.
I think they fit better in other Central and Central-Eastern European countries. Switzerland, Southern Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary IMO

A lot of pan western euro types. Alpines, Borrebies, Atlantids, Atlanto-Meds, Subnordids, Norids. Some of them also fit in Central Europe.

I find interesting that France hasn't been mentioned yet, especially considering the significant Alpine influence in both areas.

Italians are the most pan-Euro looking people from the Mediterranean region.

Strong Alpine looking types.

Because Northern Italians are not mediterraneans.

True, now that you said, i have noticed it, France would be a nice fit too

They look what they are, Central Europeans.

Most recurrent phenotypes: Alpine, Subnordid, Dinarid, Norid, Atlantid, Atlanto-Med, North Atlantid, and some Nordid often Dalofaelid or Hallstatt. A strong CM traits to be noted.
As for passing, they would pass unrecognizable in all Western Europe, best fit would be France and Germanophone Alps.

Done.
A question: are Friulians the most north shifted Italian "group"?

Also pigmentation is similar, but there's something else setting them apart.
Still there's some overlap, for instance guy in spoiler below reminds me of this French youtuber:

There's a paper coming out with samples from all over Italy including Friuli, guess we'll soon find out.
