Around 34,000 years ago, hunter-gatherers who roamed the Russian plains started to bury their dead at the site of Sunghir, about 200 kilometers east of what is today Moscow.

Strong boi

They mostly ate meat, maybe even raw. I ate only meat for 10 days last month to see how my body will react and the outcome. I got bigger and more cut But i work out like every day too so maybe it was just in my mind but my body fat did drop to 8% and it was around 10% before that. I felt like I had more energy too.

Was this an I specimen or one of the Asians they found?

I'm not sure if this is his or someone else

Good man! I think even the Russian Hunter gathers wouldn't want people going on trendy fad gluten-free diets

Lol It was an experiment to eat just meat and I was my own guinea pig. Beer is 90% water anyway.

There is too much politics at play regarding genetics nowadays unfortunately especially with 3rd party apps like gedmatch and others. I dont believe that scientists do not know Neanderthal Ydna but they found out their Mtdna for example.

Yea he is one of the Siberoids, they have found haplogroup I2 though. Gerasimov was decent at his reconstructions but he made them look too European, they would have essentially looked like Eskimids and Siberians. That dude is Sungir 1.

This is his skull and his kin, you can see his skull is a lot more Asiatic and has an under bite which isn't common among Europeans.

A lot of this stuff is essentially guess work too from partial DNA

Oh yeah, of course he is jacked as fuck. Jawline out of control....I guarentee you it's not how he really looked.

Probably how he actually looked based on his skull, typical Siberian, you gotta remember that reconstruction was before Genetic sequencing, haplotype testing and all that, he had to make an educated guess. There are some Siberians that look that and are fairly big though.

At that time, Caucasoid and Mongoloid still didn't split and people were dark as well. Impossible to classify...

This Siberian looks very strongly mixed with Aryan (long angular features with lightish eyes): very distinct from Sunghir man.

On the other hand, you could find people in Japan that didn't look Asian at all. The two races weren't split at that time, so you could have any variation of individuals... This particular guy looks Central American, for example (like people from El Salvador).
