Okay couldn't find an evidence that he is in fact Hazara other than few iranians claiming that he is Hazara. But lookswise obviously might be true.

If you know about such faces from Mashad then you will understand. Mashad has like one of the largest refugee population of Afghans, mostly Pashtuns and Hazara.

I don't think he is an Afghan refugee or Afghani. His family is from fariman in Khorasan Razavi. His family has had root Iran prior to Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.

But He does look Hazara and he certainly fits them better than Persian.
