Greece is the first country I think of when I think Balkans, along with Bulgaria and Albania.

I don't get this whole, Greece isn't Balkan, idea. If you ask me they're more Balkan than South Slavs, since Slavs came into the Balkans way later than Greeks' ancestors did. If anyone's not Balkan to me it's Serbians and Bosnians.

I personally divide Europe by East, West, North, and South (this is how the EU does it as well). By that system, Greece is in Southern Europe and Croatia/Serbia is in Eastern Europe.

There are different ways to look at it. I see them as such, but also in a Classical manner.
