I have a good eye for Iranian phenotypes it seems. He looks like those Iranian wrestlers from Azerbaijan and Gilan region..

Proto Iranid is more of a Kurdish or Lur phenotype, I hardly see it among Azeris. Azeris are mostly Caspid or Iranid with Caucasus admixtures (like me myself).

I kind of disagree. I noticed strong cm or robust influences among Iranian Azeris.

offcourse but if you notice both these men you posted have strong admixtures from Caucus types like Googoosh's father has alpine while Takhti had strong turanid admixture into Iranid baseline. They are Proto Iranid or Irano CM types but with admixture.

Among kurds you can find pure Irano CM or Proto Iranid types. Almost Textbook.
