Thomas The Tank Engine, I've never seen postman pat and also I rarely saw Thomas the Tank. There was this german kid tv station toggolino I could watch it through satelite, but as I said it was rare.

I liked both but I watched loads of Thomas, still watched it as a teenager as it was always on. Also cool that the drummer from the Beatles was the narrator

Thomas is the first cartoon i recall seeing in my entire life, so my vote goes for it

I'm 54 and I grew up watching Looney Tunes (Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, etc), Woody Woodpecker, Tom & Jerry, etc. I never heard of Postman Pat but I have heard of Thomas & Friends and I have watched it a few times. Ringo Starr's voice is calm and soothing. The other thing I find soothing is watching and listening to golf on tv. It is a great cure for headaches, or a grumpy mood, if I watch TV at all. I'll vote for Thomas. What I like most about it is the pristine English countryside.
