I beg to differ, according to several genealogical search engines it seems to be concentrated in Barcelona, Girona and Valencia, it's virtually unexistent in other places. It also peaks in the Gerona province, which is precisely where the place of Laia's birth is, Cassá de la Selva.

No need to get your knickers in a twist. I just find amusing to watch other Southern Euros in complete frenzy, hysterical, bursting insecureness through every pore whenever a darker than average or exotic countryman is posted.

I thought I read the title as "Colombian politician" not "Catalan" and as Colombian it'd have made sense, she looks like a Caribbean or South American mulatta.
