too much similarity between those types imo-some Atlanto Med/ Pontid look very similar for example. Richard Gere as Atlanto Med, not sure...
imo his North Atlantids are the weakest- he included a Belorussian model in the North Atlantid set, but she is reasonable choice.

...and it also ignores regional variations which furthers blurs everything. For instance, in France Atlantid can blend in with pure dinarid, alpine and baskid strains where in the Netherlands and West Germany more Germanic and celtic strains perhaps sub-nordid, norid, UP etc.. I would venture to guess.

Too much importance for eye color pigmentation. Facial dimensions are more important.

As JamesBond007 says, there are issues with regional variation.
In Baltic countries there are also many Med blends. North-Pontid is often mixed with Baltid, West-Baltid, Gorid and other subtypes.
In our typology North Pontid is Pontid + East Nordid, but such pure type in reality is less common than various mixes.
And what about Pontid + Hallstatt Nordid or Atlanto-med + East Nordid? They are neither North Pontid nor North Atlantid.

As my friend Immanenz says, there are too much similarities between those types.
We don't have Atlanto-Baltid and South Faelid, for example.

the difference between Atlantid and Pontid of all kind is Dolicho-Meso vs Brachy to Meso cephalic index, and of course the second has smaller heads (head circumference etc.), thread can be closed now
