there is a fringe in West Germany who can look somewhat like that, also Poles for some reason although slightly different- they do share this same eye shape. This type of Austrian would look closer to Hungarian, Slovak and Balkan- a bit more Eastern , rather brachy (but not necessary of course)- like Hans Krankl for example

As i said this type of more Anatolian/Semite eye shape, more gracile Baskid type is a West thing. Hackl does look hardcore Bavarian (its the heavier Alpine component i guess this makes also the eyes less prominent, there some Bavarians who can look "pseudo" (or not pseudo) Anatolic too ), and than you have Dinarids who easily pass in the east like Helmut Fischer, Klaus Augenthaler who actually looked like Russian/ Finn once posted by a Finnish member . I would say you ll find those like Hilbert types rather in Swiss, but its not too much related with South only, easily could be also from Frankfurt just more along the West.
You find Gracile Meds even in Luxenbourg, no matter what someone like Septentrion will tell you.
