Well you did better than the first thread where the majority of people guessed incorrectly.

No 1 is Irish and No 2 is Dutch.

Personally I don't know how people would know as I couldn't even guess which was which. Anyway many people were correct this time.

Both of them look British Isles, but the first guy has that glow-in-the-dark paleness and more Irish eyes, I could hardly even see him as English. Second guy has a more pan-NW look (Benelux to Ireland).

Yes the eyes of the Irishman are a clue I agree. I think some Irish have very distinctive eyelids i.e. eye folds etc.

You obviouly know better than me, and while I took some time to guess, I guessed the first as Irish because I associate those eyes as being more common among them than continental Germanics. Maybe I'm wrong, but that was the reason of my guess.

I think the eyes can be a good indicator in some cases. :thumb001:

I once stayed at a place called Frisco Inn, by the Red Light District. Wonderful Irish owner. Loved to chat about the ruthless businessmindedness of the Dutch.
