He looks like some Serbs that lived in Croatia.

Interesting. Most of the blonde Serbs I saw looked different. I think he looks more Albanian despite lighter pigmentation but he can pass in Slavic countries I think. Serbs also have some Albanian input for sure.

You know what made me recognize Serbs often compared to Croats? This extra Balkan element in facial features even if they are very light.
so it could be that they simply have more Alibanian-like admix that makes the difference in looks, especially in Montenegro.

Yeah, Serbs have Vlach/Romanian and Albanian input more than Croats. Under Serb medieval empire probably many Albanians were assimilated. And later Orthodox Vlachs were assimilated during the Ottoman period. Serbs also occupied Northern Albania in 900 AD.
And later Macedonia. And knocked at the border of Greece. So they were deep south in the Balkans.
Serbian Piperi tribe match Albanians: https://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?310754-Y-DNA-Serbian-DNA-Project&p=7539243#post7539243
Croats have native Balkan input from Illyrians that lived in Croatia. They were probably distantly related to Albanians and Vlachs but different. Related maybe from the Bronze Age/Iron Age. Some Vlachs like Istro-Romanian settled Croatia too and Arbanasi.
Of course Albanians have some Serb input too. Some Serbs were assimilated in Kosovo and Slavs that settled Albania were assimilated. Also intermarriages with Montenigrins. I noticed some high amount of I2a in Western Kosovo for some reason. Probably assimilated Serbs.
What about relatively high amount of Slavic hgs in southern Albania? Are those long time assimilated Bulgarian Slavs or even something older?
