You could have used European samples instead of Brazilian ones. Also neither of them would be in the lighter or darkest spectrum if they were Portuguese.

I get what you are saying, but still the point is that I don't think Latin Americans are always as 'foreign' to Southern Europe as some might like to claim.

Our Old Christian who used to comment on here often posted men like no 2 as well as ones like no 1 so i don't think even most Iberian nationalists would say no 2 looks non Iberian.

The main point of contention is not that types like no 2 look foreign to Iberia. Rather, it is what percentage are more like him and what percentage are more like the other more 'pan-European' example?

No 2 looks quite standard, no 1 maybe 10% no more.

Not that light - his hair and eyes are still pretty dark. When I think of 'light Spaniards', I think of Xabi Alonso, Gerard Pique or even David de Gea.

He is lightish, looks like a Frenchman, Xabi is atypical, de Gea is common enough but you would not see a lot like him on a crowded Spanish street.

And 1 doesn't look that light either.
What makes him stand out more is his facial features, especially eye shape, not his pigmentation.
