My former city. Despite its very multiracial population, its sports crowds look like these:
Leicester Tigers rugby supporters

I think a crowd of Brits is rather easy to identify, and usually would struggle to pass anywhere else; more so than most crowds from other countries, do you agree?

Why do you say that?

Why do you say that?
It's just about their phenotypes being more distinctive.

Because we're an island?

Some island people look less distinctive imo like Sardinians and Cypriots.

Sardinians are more Med-looking than mainland Italians of the same latitude, while Cypriots are substantially more European-shifted than mainland Levantines.

True but i would struggle to identify them in a thread with pictures of people from other nearby Med islands and countries, some nations just have a certain look that makes them easy to identify i.e Japanese, Saudis, Somalis.

Yes and no. Sardinians are more Med than any French group, and are also more than most Northern and Central Italians. Furthermore, Cypriots are far more Greek/European-shifted than are Levantines, Egyptians and even many Turks.

I dont know about you but i would struggle to guess a group of Sardinians over a group of southern Italians or even southern Greeks and Portuguese , as for Cypriots the same would apply with them looking like Greeks, Turks and Bulgarians to an extent, most people here seem to easily guess British or Irish groups.

I agree about Sardinians, but Cypriots are more accurately described as a Greek-Lebanese intermediate group. In discussions about this on other anthrofora, people have said that, while most Cypriots can pass in Lebanon, no more than 40-50% of Lebanese people can pass in Cyprus.

Any more thoughts and suggestions? Considering this is Leicester we are talking about, the number of non-white faces in both photos is incredibly low.
