Mostly atlantids, subnordics, berids and a few CM's but mostly they have some med influence too, only Maria da Luz Rosinha looks in any way N Euro imo as the facial features are quite distinct. Portuguese people seem to look less passable in central and northern Europe than Spaniards even when very light complected.

They look more distinctly Portuguese i would say, come to think of it none of my Spanish family members looked in any way Portuguese, their facial features are just different the Portuguese look the way they do probably a result of inhabiting a small isolated country with a distinct language.

I would say the vast majority, the last might pass in Spain and probably France, Germany, Switzerland but the rest have quite peculiar faces more typical of the Portuguese, the Spanish seem sharper featured.

The northern Portuguese are closely related to British Celts. But at the same time Portuguese have more North African than Spaniards. The Spanish in my opinion are more Iberian or southern European.

I agree that PT people look very peculiar, there's something about the usual skin tone that's very distinctive as well, not that it's especially dark, it just has a peculiar greyish tone.

Of this set, I think Rosinha, Temido and Prata could pass up to north Italy. There are ones like Rui Vilar who are quite light but have unmistakable Portuguese faces (to me).

Alexandre Quintanilha is half-German btw.

Phenotypes can often be region specific, for example there are loads of Scottish who wouldn't pass in East Anglia, also lots of Bretons who wouldn't pass in Flanders.

The second one looks extremely English and v similar to someone I know.

As to the original pics, they do look more brachy than probably would have expected but a lot of them pass easily in central and NW Europe
