Just searched him online, turns out the hair is dyed though he has done a good job to make it look natural

If he is a male he is blond. A female is blonde. It's from the French which has feminine and masculine nouns. Also brunette is female. When talking about a population it is best just to use blond. I don't know why now even males are blonde??

Brunet. I know I'm a bit anal about it but it always bugs me. Blonde is a female so seeing a male described as blonde just irritates me and I wonder why people don't know this anymore. :)

I agree with you about blond. I haven't seen Brunet in use to describe a male. We use Brun and Biond in Albanian. Brunet still seems like a feminization of Brun.

Brunette/brunet isn't in common usage much now. People just say dark haired.
