It is funny that he 'discovered ' his amerind component while being cast as a native.

I've always heard this 'throw back' comment,but i don't think it works that way. Since white genes tend to be recessive once the phenotype takes place in a mother/father i don't think its possible to have a throw back.

It isn't his pigmentation which is unusual at all, there are people who are a lot more tanned but still completely euro looking.
