I checked and she was born as Cyn Pacheco in Rota, Spain... moved to Texas as a young girl and changed her name.
I don't think she looks typical iberian at all. Blonde iberians look different from her.

Yep, not the most common type of blonde.
And no, there's no "true visigothic spaniards", most of them weren't blonde anyway.

CM + Atlanto-Nordid.
My opinion also.
Google alerts made me aware of this thread this morning. I thought it would be interesting to pop in and answer any questions.
By the way, that is my natural hair color.
My mother's family is from a small coastal city in the south of Spain, called Rota, where we believe they have been for hundreds of years. My mother is blonde haired, blue eyed, and has similar facial structure. The joke in my family is that our looks descend from Viking raiding parties.
My father is American, of French descent. He was in the US Navy and met my mother while stationed at NAS Rota. I was born in Spain and lived there until the age of seven.
I am happy to answer any questions as best I can. Fair warning though, my understanding of the terms used in this forum is a little limited. For example, "meta ethnicity", which was required to register, was new to me and, based on an internet search, not very well defined. If you could explain them, it would be helpful.
Best,
Cindy

As soon as someone mentioned Rota, I imagined your father being non-Spanish. But that is actually very interesting, because one might think you'd have inherited the Nordoid traits from your father, and apparently you rather did it from your mother.
As others say, however, I'd say your pigmentation in combination with the facial structure is rather atypical for Spain. But as a member said too, Pepa Flores "Marisol" was also a Nordoid-looking thru and thru Andalusian, although her facial structure was a bit different. And there are more who just happen to be unknown. Not a common look at all, of course, probably a bit more common in places near the coast.
I don't know what an accurate classification could be in this case, though. I'm a bit more specialized in Mediterranean types. But nice pictures, I must say. :)
Is there a definitional section so I can learn what CM, Nordoid, etc., mean.

You are talking as if the people of Cadiz was very different from Catalonia in features of pigmentation, I can wait that of a foreigner, but you? is somewhat embarrassing.
I know something Cádiz, I visited Algeciras a few months ago, and I know very well other cities of Andalusia , her features are not uncommon there, of course not the majority, but a good percentage of the population, as in the rest of the peninsula, has these features, and even lighter and more robust, regardless of that AtlantoMed types are majority.
And facial features (no pigmentation) are not uncommon in Iberia, I'd say most common in southern and western Iberia, frankly, apart from pigmentation, I do not see her face typical from North or Central Europe.
Marisol, from Málaga, is a diferent case, a more nordid/Atlantid type but even she is a minority well represented in Andalusia.

Don't hijack this thread too, this thread is not about the Catalans. And learn to read, for God's sake! All I said was that her features are in fact a bit more common in the Andalusian coast than in the Andalusian inland. And Cádiz is coastal, or so it was last time I was there.

but that is a lie, an invention created of your ignorance of Andalusia, you can see these traits in the same amount in Jaén and Granada. And relax, you are very sensitive/obsessed with my opinions but I'm not hijacking the topic.

"Romance" it is. Thank you.:eyes
Actually in your case it's "Germanic" since you are a native english speaker. This works better in Europe where ethnicity and language is the same:
http://www.kidsmaps.com/geography/images/fullsized/european%20-language.png
Languages (Meta-Ethnicities) above are Romance (blue), Germanic (green) and Slavic (red).
In America with people speaking a germanic language but with so many having ancestry from other places it's more complicated. Anyway, the meta-ethnicity thing is mostly for fun... it's not important :p

The jaws, the gonial angle is of mediteranid same with the lips, who are not presenting the thickness of nordids.
Same with lines of the face, which are quite rounded.
But the longness of the face and how nose is and how forehead is are nordid,so a mix of nordid with mediteranid.
The nordid admixture seems to be from dalo-falid.
