Portuguese? She could be, but it wouldn't be my first guess.

Lol. No, she would be the queen of exotic-ness.
She's from Ceuta (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceuta). The place where I think that other girl Yohana Cobo might be from.

So Canarian was close then, given that they have more Berber admixture than the rest of Europe.

Yes. It would be interesting to evaluate the genetics of the people living in that city as well as in Melilla. Both are autonomous cities of Spain, but located on the North African shore, surrounded by Morocco.

I would like to see whether Canarians cluster closely to people from Ceuta and Melilla, since all are some Berber-Iberian combination.

She looks quite North African to me at least, and clearly has this non-European look about her, although its distinctly Southern.
I would say that she is an Alpinoid-Cro-Magnon type more generally, but more specifically probably a Berberid.
Berberid's can resemble Berid's at time, although it is quite clear that people that are Berids are Europeans, while with Berberids it tends to look like they have something non-European.

A percentage could. That is, the true native Canarians. Most would not.
Geneticists generally treat Canarians as a unique grouping and separate from mainland Spain.

Surely not genetically indigenous Portuguese.
