I'd suspect his height came from European genetic input. People of such ridiculous heights, as far as I know are like midgets; they're plagued with health problems related to their stature. Gary Coleman had two kidney transplants, and it was known these issues were related to his overall stature.

Hard to classify,I think some sort of acromegaly makes him un-classifiable.

He does not seem acromegalic. His fists (even if bigger than the woman's head) are small relative to his body proportions.

His broad face likely comes from Amerindian admixture from his region. Formosa borders Paraguay.

Due to his size and chubby face he almost looks Pacific Islander.

Yeah true, he looks like a Tongan or something.

Southern Amerindian type + Mediterranid/Robust Mediterranid element, which could be conciding with the clearly Cro-Magniform Amerindian type.

Cro-Magniform Amerindian types tend to be found in the more Central/Southern areas of South America.

Amerindian types are among the few types, other then some Pacific Islander types that I need to brush up on in terms of knowing them.

He looks predominantly Amerindian. His native input is likely to be Patagon. It is said that some Patagones could grow very tall.

Magellan's fleet spent a difficult winter at what he named Puerto San Julián before resuming his voyage further south on August 21, 1520. During this time he encountered the local inhabitants, likely to be Tehuelche people, described by his reporter, Antonio Pigafetta, as giants called Patagons.
