He is quite pure CM, I'd guess Faelid with minor East Baltid influence. Can pass anywhere at Baltic states, Poland. Maybe Germany but don't think he is typical German. He has some Slavic vibe.

For me Karol sounds male.(Carol-female).

So it means that even is english speaking countries this form is sometimes used. But yes name Carol is used also for female, mostly as diminutive.

Could be, but such surnames are rarely connected to any particular ancestry in Poland (unless someone has name that indicates something too).
