SARAJEVO -- A SIPA operation launched in Bosnia-Herzegovina has resulted in the arrest of Vinko Drinovac, chief of the cabinet of the FBiH President Živko Budimir.

SIPA is the State Investigation and Protection Agency of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Sarajevo's Dnevni Avaz newspaper writes that it learned unofficially that Drinovac was taken to the Bosnia-Herzegovina Prosecution building after his arrest.

Živko Budimir was also detained in April, on suspicion of involvement in giving and receiving bribes in cases of pardons granted to convicts.

The Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina (FBiH) is the Muslim (Bosniak)-Croat entity of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The country also has a Serb entity, the Serb Republic (RS)
