Masterchef France participants, who overlaps the most?

French contestants of the famous cooking show "Masterchef", from the three available seasons. I couldn't find the surname of all, so I guess maybe two or three arn't ethnic French. Last one hails from Wallonia but lives in France.

Where would they fit the best?

Globally they don't overlap with anyone but themselves. They have a distinct French look. If anything, as a whole, they would pretty much overlap with québécois. Individually, I could place some of them in Flanders, Walonia, SW Germany and Switzerland.

Yes, I agree the overlap is restricted to an individual level. Luc mentioned this too.

As a group they won't pass in Italy or Spain, the look is bit too northern for those 2 countries but I can see a few individuals passing.
As a group probably closer to Britain and Germany, perhaps even a cross between those 2.

You can find those types on the French border areas with Germany, Italy and Spain. Probably overall Britain. Technically now there is a "land" border with France and Britain now with the Channel Tunnel.

I voted for Germany because overall I think they have a more continental look although individually some can easily pass as british. Just a bit too northern looking overall for Spain and italy.

When I posted photos of family members (and myself) people said we would fit in the UK or Germany but we never got Spain.

I guess we resemble our northern neighbors more than we resemble our southern ones.
