I think he was at least as talented as an actor as well, its unfortunate that he preferred to sing and to play in theater instead of leaving a bigger movie legacy. Yes, "MVIN" comes to mind, where he was beyond brilliant.

My bad, I wasn't careful enough with what I've posted. His mother looks more european than his step-mother (his father's 2nd wife) but still doesn't look particularly russian. Anyway, Vysotsky was a great man.
