Norwegians are the most distinct. They're not so similar to Swedes as some say.

All of these men would be able to fit as any of the given ethnicities without being atypical. But some players make it obvious which team is which. Danish team it's the first guy, 3rd row. Norwegian team it's the second guy, 1st row and in the Swedish team it's the second guy, 5th row.

I disagree. First, though, let me state that less than half of the men on the Danish team look Danish to me.
Some of the Norwegians look odd because they don't look like Norwegians.I conclude that these teams are not representative samples.

I strongly agree. Indivudal pics it's almost impossible to tell apart. But when they are in a group with close up pics it's kinda easier because you see a "pattern".

I just looked up the Norwegian hockey players and they look actually less distinctive than these fotballers.

I can tell all three apart pretty easily and probably tell them all without the uniforms. The nowegians have some odd looks sometimes but the danish are the most distinct from the others. They seem to have a look that doesn't exist elsewhere, for some of them anyway. Though I guess max von sydow is similar and I think he's swedish.

And yeah some of them in all three groups just don't belong in the group. But when I say "odd" for the norwegians I mean the kind of very babylike face some have. When I say different for the danish it's the most blonde ones mainly, the max von sydow on the cover of the 7th seal look.

Swedes have more of a stereotypical Nordic Viking look. Norwegians while looking Nordic have more of Alpinid influenced with features less sharp. The Danes look like a cross between Swedes and light British.

I knew at least someone would point this out. Norwegians : Atlantid wogs look like Iberians. Danes: The Meds of Scandinavia. Swedes: Half eastern European mongrels.

The Danes often have a hint of Britishness that is less widespread in Norway and rather rare in Sweden.

I'm just back from a vacation on Marstrand, a famous yachtmen meeting point on Sweden's west coast, an ideal place for comparing Scandinavian ethnicities, and I am absolutely positive about that: Swedes and Norwegians can easily be confused, the Danes stand out.

I think Denmark is more Nordid on average, Norway more Cromagnoid while Sweden is in between.

I might have been able to guess the Norwegians. There is a stronger CM element present in Norwegians in general from what I have read and seen.

The Danes and Swedes would have been difficult to distinguish IMO.
