Ena von Baer: GERMANY
Ivan Moreira: SPAIN
Pablo Zalaquett: Probably SPAIN as well
Alejandro García-Huidobro: Only Latin America
Jacqueline van Rysselberghe: SPAIN (By her last name I had a blonde-nordid woman in mind)
Manuel Rojas: LATIN AMERICA, Fits perfectly in MEXICO
Gonzalo Uriarte: LATIN AMERICA (ARGENTINA, CHILE AND URUGUAY mostly and SPAIN
Victor Perez Varela: LATIN AMERICA (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay mostly)

It is interesting how the Southern candidates (von Baer, van Rysselberghe) look more Europoid, whilst the Northern candidate (Manuel Rojas) is the most Amerindian looking one..

No way! despite dropping some letters it´s veeery different

A lot of people drop the R in their respective languages.. including the Brits :p

yeah it's very different I agree, it's only that the first guy in the video I think says 'el pal·lamento' 3 or 4 times and it sounds very very canarian-caribbean.

in canarian accent they say 'el pal·lamento' too, but in castillian spanish the change of 'r' for 'l' is associated with slighty retarded people, that's why it sounds funny to us.

Look at the first ones (first 2 minutes).. they're from the South, they talk more clearly :p
