Since Haak et al. 2016 I don't see any serious reason to justify the persistent old-fashioned theory of a dual IE origin of R1a and R1b individuals among Yamna men anymore. A theory solely based on forum talks, not more. R1a moved east, R1b moved west, 2 totally different cultures and ethnic makeup.

Idk if there is any sense in responding you, but, below you have an
area settled by IEs during Yamna period - and places where yamna
samples were taken. As you can see, there is a much more palces
where IEs lived at the time, than those probes.
Blue - IE territory before corded expansion
Green - corded mainly R1a expansion
Red dots - checked yamna samples.
