The people of Jiangnan (Shanghainese, Zhejiang, Jiangsu) have average IQ's similar to Ashkenazis, which correlates with my experiences. They are some wicked smart people, it's no wonder Shanghai has been able to remake itself into a giant, super modern world metropolis only three decades after Communism.
