Literally fought together in siege of Belgrade, and not just him. Serbs would rather kill themself than admit how big did Albanians play their role in their history.

Why so? Rather it's some exaggerated "problem" with made up "pretext" - again, if someone does not know this part of history and exact historical persons, he would think that this guy on pic is this Albanian and monument is dedicated to him. What you write generally sounds bizarre. Unlike you I can understand it and realize from perspective of Serbs, so what if an Albanian mercenary switched the sides during the rebellion, what's bad about it?

I dunno how the fact that leader of local Dahije and his men switched the sides and betrayed the Ottomans for the good of Serbs may hurt the Serbian feelings, you have to be someone very alien to the region to think this way.

It would be good if there were more of such people

Why does the statue have typical qeleshe/plus hat on his head?
He doesnt have Albo hat on head.
He is without hat at all.

Aesthetically, this statue was inspired by ancient Greek statues.
It symbolically represents victory of Serbia over empires - Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian, not some real historical figure.

I just wonder how the authors of this bs related Bimbasa with Pobednik statue.

The guy on the first pic is Djordje Petrovic, Karadjordje leader of this rebellion and next to him is a picture of a sign of Kondina street. How's it related? Just a pile of unrelated stuff in every single line.

It's one of the most weird topics I ever seen here, even Shqips with their bizarre topics create em with more logical connection of some facts, no matter true or false ones.
This is what happen when people learn history on reddit/internet

Albanians are irrelevant in Serbian history.

Yes. And Serbian genetic influence in Albanians is quite bigger than vice versa. This Serb from Šumadija whose result is published today at Poreklo is second out of several thousands tested Serbs which
belong to Kelmendi clan by y dna (other is from western Serbia) https://forum.poreklo.rs/index.php?t...7821#msg197821

My personal doctor is a Serb (married to a Greek). My classmates in uni were Albanians. They were both good peoples, despite some cultural particularities. They should be friends, ideally speaking.
