Na sua obra Casa Grande e Senzala, o Gilberto Freyre nota que, muitos escravos fugidos raptavam índias e caboclas para suprir o baixo número de mulheres.
A respeito da tua pergunta, sim, eu conheço muitos. Meu primo é um exemplo: a mãe dele é branca, e o pai é negro (negro miscigenado; ele tem cabelo liso, nariz fino, lábios grossos e pele escura). Ele é pardo, mas na identidade consta "branco". Socialmente, ele nunca foi alvo de racismo. Na verdade, ele se refere às pessoas com traços mais africanas como "negão e nega". Se ele tiver filhos com uma mulher branca, a herança africana vai se diluir mais ainda. Eu tenho notado os traços dos haitianos que vivem aqui, e eu posso te garantir que eles são muitos mais próximos da matriz africana do que os negros brasileiros. Nenhum haitiano tem cabelo liso, nariz fino, e o tom de pele deles é muito mais escuro.
