Why do people here think I look like my dad when IRL most people don't see it?

People say I look like my dad, but when I am in person, people think I am not his son, or they thought I was his nephew or something. I don't really look like him at all. My dad looks more Baltic/Hallstat and I look Atlantid Alpine like my mother. My mother married down to an unattractive man because he was her ticket out of the South.

For real. My dad and I have a very bad history, but..this kind of disrespect if I would be under his roof. I wouldn't have dreamed it.
