I don't know about distribution of phenotypes and don't even take that too seriously, btw.
Closer to Northern Italians than to Britons, yes, but certainly not to people south of Rome.

North Italians have a tendancy to darker skin, something that just isn't seen in the French, i visited Grenoble and the people there were remarkably uniform in complexion, no one was darker than say Gary Lineker and few were as pale as a typical Irish or Scot.

Then maybe it's better to say that they are intermediate between Northern Italians and Iberians on one hand and the Germanic(especially South German, Austrian and Flemish) and British Isles peoples on the other? And that Southern French are closer to South Europeans and Northern French to NW Europeans, but still more intermediate and closer to each other? Just like they are genetically right?

I would say they are more like Germans with gracile med influence, they do not look italic.

Nicola Sturgeon? No. She looks very British. Her face, her mouth is too British for me. Choose someone else.

Really? i wouldn't think she was foreign if i saw her in France, i would probably have to look twice to see it was actually her and not a random local.

I would pick her out right away. I don’t think she would even pass as Belgian. To me she’s extremely British-looking. Nevertheless, people have different opinions.

I don't see what is so British looking about her, she looks similar to an Italian astronaut who's name I can't remember easily, I mean her type is quite common in Scotland but there are lots of Scots who look only British like Swinney from the SNP.

The British or Irish have less brachycephaly in comparison to the French and Germans. One of the reasons why the Germans would be closer to the French regardless of pigmentation difference.

This is probably because you’re British yourself. You doesn’t look Italian! She is different from typical Italians as the night is from the day. The Italian that looks like her, must be a Northern European - looking one. She’s just as Scottish as it gets.
