This is a very perceptive review that I just came upon. I am pleasantly surprised that the author of it has seen through the hype to see that the King's Speech was about debasing Kingship. And to see that it is part of wider context in Hollywood (eg, Thor, Avatar, etc) is genius.

Colorblind casting only works one way. You'd never see a stereotypical white girl being cast as a Latina (even though there ARE white Hispanics) or as a black character.
