How would you describe the difference in appearance? I don't think I've met many Bulgarians in real life. I've known a few Serbs though

I have book written by Bulgarian anthropologist in the 70s. He claims that Bulgarians are similar to Belarusians, Russians and Ukrainians based on anthropology and odontology information. There is a difference. In those days some scholars were under pressure from the government to show Slavic unity. I don't think people were taking his conclusion seriously given that Belarusians and northern Russians have north European odontology. Nonetheless the book is fun.
