He spoke out against killing civilians. You're viewing this is as "White guy comes into my territory and wants to run shit" instead of "foreign guy disapproved of local leadership targeting civilians." We're back to your main issue: power. You resent White people's power so much that it's more important to you that a White guy was 'uppity' instead of why he had issues with the leadership. The difference in strategy was whether to target civilians or not.

That's bullshit...Only reason he even got a platform is because he's American. The guy was involved in everything he accuses al Shabab of. It was when he tried to step out of line and instead of offer his volunteering, tried to take a leadership role that my late sub-clanmate, Sheikh Godane had enough and put the hit on him. He knew he overstepped his boundaries, which is why he figured maybe spewing crap on social media.
