This country has so many weird people these days. Some think not standing for the national anthem helps their cause. The only thing that changes anything in America is money. If you don't have it you are not changing anything. Even then your influence has its limits. No rich athlete is changing anything. Their cries might be heard but a week later forgotten.

I could ask why do some Americans emmigrate to the UK or why do some Brits emmigrate and become British expats in Australia, the US, Canada, France, and New Zealand?
The US population is over 350 million people, so I guess most people emmigrate to the US. Either that, or the majority of Americans prefer to live in the United States as their population is massive.
I don't refer to Americans in London as being 'immigrants' though. I refer to them as US expats.
I often hear students in my area with American accents as they're studying at the elite American-British college near Regents Park, close to the prestigious US Ambassador's residence. I like American students. (I often hear French and Aussie accents around my local area too.)
There's about 8 million US citizens who are currently living abroad, which is a small percentage of the entire US population of people choosing to live outside of the United States.

The amount of Americans who move is very small considered to our overall population. Especially when you look at it over decades. Most of them living in Canada or Mexico are likely not staying or go home frequently. UK makes sense because we have cultural/historical bonds with them.
We prefer staying right where we are.

I thought about studying abroad there for a semester. Poland just seems very isolated from bullshit. Most of us say we're moving to canada though which isn't much better.
