The arch-dominant Iberian culture (Castillian) is only in Spain, not in Portugal for sure, even though we are closer to Spaniards than to anyone else.
Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró and Atoni Tápies is what you would call degenerated art? I think that is subjective but undoubtedly they are some of the most resounding names worldwide when it comes to the artistic movement of surrealism and abstract expressionism.
Our dinning habits aren't much different as well when compared to the rest of Europe. Probably not as late as in Catalonia but also not at 5 p.m. like several westerner tourists seem to do here. Going out at night in Portugal usually means between midnight and 1 a.m. while when I was in Poland it would usually mean going out between 9-10 p.m.
