So... Kim is opening up North Korea, and wants to work towards reunification with the South. South Koreans also want that... and Moon is a good, genuine leader.
What I think we shouldn't lose sight of, is that the US will not want to give up the Korean peninsula geopolitically. Oh no... and on the contrary. The US wants to expand their military influence to the North, possibly as a bullwark against China and Russia in the East. There is just no way America is going to give up on Korea. This has nothing to do with peace, and everything to do with maintaining influence on the global stage.
What is even more worrying, is that the US says it is looking at the Libyan model for North Korea. This is shocking. We all know how that went ...
