Sounds logical.
Bosniaks are the shortest in Bosnia as well, not only in Herzegovina.
The shortest place on the map are Gradačac (179.8 cm) in yellow area in northeastern Bosnia and Bihać (179.9 cm) in yellow area in northwestern Bosnia, both cities have Bosniak vast majority https://www.acsh.org/sites/default/f...egovinians.jpg
Sarajevo with Bosniak vast majority is 181.8 cm, and right next to Sarajevo is East Sarajevo (small pink area) 184 cm with Serbian vast majority.

I can attest to both of these statements being false. This might have happened very infrequently, most of the Albanians in Bar consider themselves Montenegrin Muslims in the census.
The real reason why Albanians in Yugoslavia (Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia) were taller than the ones in Albania was due to Albanian communism. The new generation of Albanians from Albania are the same height as Albanians in Yugo countries but there are no current Statistics to show it.
