I just notice how dishonest it is to do as if it’s something heretic. As far as I know, it is not directly based on a hadith or a verse, but all the spirit of Islam is there, with the inherent inferiority of the non-Muslims, the infinite disdain towards them, etc. You don’t need a hadith or a verse to “prove”, to "confirm", that it’s Orthodox Islam. There are plenty of aspects of human life that were not addressed by the hadiths or the Quran and which are being normalised by Islamic law because, once again, Islam encompasses every aspect of human life, there must be a legal answer for anything that is possible.
