Default Is restoring photos of dead people with AI/Neural Networks a form of necromancy?

Everytime I try to restore an old dead relative's photo with AI/Neural Networks I feel like I'm doing something wrong, like I'm trying to resurrect them in a limited sense, it almost feels like necromancy. What do you think?

I've never had that negative feeling while restoring old photos, My grandma did that once and she didn't felt bad, but nostalgic while seeing the animation mode by My Heritage.

    Spoiler!

( Do not DM me asking for classifications please )

I'm just talking about basic quality enhancement/coloration, I actually started feeling sick at even the thought of trying to animate a picture of a dead relative, I'm not even going to go there.

When the photos were taken they were alive and that's what I see.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

If you feel bad/guilty about something, then don't do it.

As for whether it is necromancy or something sinful, I have no idea. But usually it is a good thing to listen to your inward witness.
