In this photo maybe, but you wouldnt guess him for a normal eye as the Scottish look.
Also there is a difference to look like typical Scotsman and being in the basic Scotish or any other spectre of looks.

I honestly don't know what people find so foreign about him? His features are very typical and he isn't unusually dark. He looks fully Isles. It's really odd to me.

i would not take him as a Southeuropean- but broader Central Europe from France to Croatia/Serbia he would pass easily. I dont see him Eastern enough to pass in Ukrainie/Romania etc. but maybe i m wrong.
