It was a sunny and warm autumn evening, so I decided to go for a walk to this beautiful suburb, which is located quite close to city center of Tampere. It has lots of old wooden houses and one of city's tallest landmarks, Viinikka's church.

In Japan, people eat the potentially deadly fugu fish, while in Finland, it's spring morels. If you don't prepare this mushroom correctly, eating it can be fatal. DW reporter Ruben Kalus set out to discover why some Finns still choose to eat it and, more importantly, how to prepare it safely!

Ainola, Residence of composer Jean Sibelius (1865-1957) in Järvenpää. The house was the residence and his family from the fall of 1904 until 1972, the composer, who died in 1957, and his wife have been buried in the property's grounds and today Ainola is a museum. The building was designed by architect Lars Sonck.
