I highly recommend you watch Dune and Dune: Part Two. The first movie was just good for me, but the second is a masterpiece.

I saw the movie. It was visually stunning, but also a stunningly boring movie.

Watched it yesterday. Since I read the book I had noticed that most of it was adapted on the first movie so I was assuming this second part was going to be tons of non-canon fillers and I was right. It was fun though. My favorite moment was the Giedi Prime subplot.
